Our Story
Future City Solar specializes in the design and installation of solar electric systems. We are a local business based in Portland, OR and do most of our work in the Willamette Valley. We take pride in the craftsmanship of our work and provide customized unique solutions for every job. Whether you are a homeowner looking to to do something to cut your electric bill costs, a farm trying to embrace sustainability, or a business looking to make a sound financial investment we are here to guide you through the process.
For us, work is a wonderful place to be. Solar energy is our passion and we feel blessed that our passion is our work. We strive to demonstrate this level of passion and commitment when we speak to our customers on the phone , conduct a site evaluation, and install a system on your property. We realize that trust is the most important aspect of a business and we guarantee that we will give 100% to every job in order to earn your trust.
We also believe we have a responsibility to share our companies’ success and growth through non-profit solar humanitarian work. We have established a fund where a portion of all sales goes to support 1 local solar project and 1 international project every year. Currently, we are trying to identify a local partner who will be the beneficiary of this year’s local project. Internationally, we are raising funds to support the work of the Solar Electric Light Fund (SELF) as they provide solar power for rural health clinics in Haiti.
